About This Group
SPAN (Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence) provides free, confidential support groups and services for survivors of domestic violence and their families in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Their trauma-informed approach helps survivors process their experiences, develop safety plans, and begin the journey of healing and empowerment in a safe, supportive environment.
What to Expect
SPAN’s support groups are facilitated by trained advocates and counselors who specialize in domestic violence recovery. Groups offer a confidential space to share experiences with others who understand, learn about the dynamics of abuse, develop safety strategies, and build a network of support. Individual counseling is also available alongside group services.
About SPAN
SPAN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence by providing comprehensive services to survivors. Serving over 2,100 adults and children annually, SPAN offers emergency shelter, transitional services, legal advocacy, individual and group counseling, and community education. All services are free and confidential, available in English and Spanish.
