About This Group

Narcotics Anonymous Alaska Region (AKNA) provides free, peer-led recovery support meetings for anyone struggling with drug addiction throughout Alaska. NA uses a 12-step program adapted for all forms of drug addiction, offering a supportive fellowship where members share their experience, strength, and hope to help each other live drug-free. With meetings in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and other Alaska communities, recovery support is accessible across the state.

What to Expect

NA meetings are welcoming and nonjudgmental. Sessions typically last one hour and include readings from NA literature, personal sharing, and group discussion. Open meetings welcome anyone, while closed meetings are for those who identify as addicts. You only need to use your first name. NA meetings are available daily across Alaska, with some communities offering virtual options for remote areas.
