Free North Texas CHADD ADHD Peer Support — Dallas-Fort Worth
North Texas CHADD is the regional chapter serving adults with ADHD and families across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding North Texas communities. Based in Southlake, the chapter provides peer support, education, and community for the largest metro area in Texas not currently served by a city-specific CHADD chapter.
What to Expect
Monthly peer support meetings where members share strategies for managing ADHD — executive function tools, time and task management, accommodations at school and work, medication and treatment conversations, parenting children with ADHD, and managing co-occurring conditions. Meetings rotate between open peer support and topic-focused formats with speakers.
Meeting Formats
In-person meetings in the Southlake/Northeast Tarrant area, plus virtual meetings via Zoom for members across DFW (Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Arlington, Denton). The chapter coordinates with CHADD’s statewide programming for Texans seeking additional virtual options. Check chadd.net/chapter/80N for the current schedule.
Who This Is For
DFW-area adults with ADHD, parents and caregivers of children or teens with ADHD, partners of adults with ADHD, and family members affected by ADHD in the household. No diagnosis required to attend.
