About This Group

SOS LIGHTHOUSE is a free monthly support group for people who have lost someone to suicide. It is run by Survivors of Suicide, Baltimore, and it is facilitated by survivors, meaning people who have been through this loss themselves.

What to Expect

The group meets on the first Thursday of every month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Parlor at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Parkville. You can come and listen without speaking. There is no fee, no dues, and no set number of sessions.

Who This Is For

Adults in the Baltimore area who have lost a family member, partner, or friend to suicide. The group is limited to people bereaved by suicide.

Email sos@sosbaltimore.org before your first meeting. Newcomers are asked to make contact first so someone can talk with you about what to expect.
