About This Group
HeartLight Center is a Denver-area grief support nonprofit based in Aurora. Its ongoing groups are led by trained peer facilitators who are fellow grievers, meet for about 90 minutes, and stay small (3 to 10 members). You are welcome regardless of how long ago the loss occurred.
What to Expect
An ongoing peer support and educational group for people who have experienced a death loss where substance use or overdose is part of the life or death narrative. Note from the organization: this group is not appropriate for individuals currently dealing with substance use themselves.
When and Where
Meets monthly on the 3rd Monday at 7:00 PM at HeartLight Center, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora.
