About This Group
Living Beyond Cancer: Young Adult Post-Treatment Survivorship Support Group is designed for young adults who have completed cancer treatment and are navigating the transition into life after cancer. This professionally led group addresses the unique physical, emotional, social, and practical challenges that young adult survivors face — from managing long-term side effects and fertility concerns to rebuilding relationships and finding a new sense of identity after treatment.
What to Expect
This is a 4-week structured program facilitated by a licensed mental health professional. Each session covers core survivorship topics relevant to young adults, including managing “scanxiety,” coping with survivor’s guilt, returning to work or school, navigating relationships, and building a fulfilling life after cancer. The group provides both emotional support and practical tools in a peer environment where participants can connect with others who truly understand their experience.
