NAMI Greater Houston offers free peer-led support groups for individuals living with mental health conditions and their family members throughout the Houston metropolitan area. Through NAMI Connection and NAMI Family Support Group programs, participants find understanding, encouragement, and practical coping strategies from others with shared lived experience.
What to Expect
NAMI support groups follow structured formats developed by NAMI National. Connection Recovery Support Groups serve adults living with mental health conditions, while Family Support Groups are for caregivers. Sessions last approximately 90 minutes and are facilitated by trained peers. No registration is required — simply show up.
