About This Group
NAMI Treasure Valley provides free peer-led support groups for individuals living with mental health conditions and their family members in the Boise metropolitan area and surrounding Treasure Valley communities. The affiliate offers NAMI Connection groups for individuals and Family Support Groups for caregivers, along with educational programs including Family-to-Family and Peer-to-Peer classes.
What to Expect
Support groups are facilitated by trained NAMI peers with lived experience of mental health conditions. NAMI Connection groups provide a safe, confidential space for individuals to share experiences and learn coping strategies. Family Support Groups help caregivers understand mental illness and develop self-care skills. Educational programs offer structured multi-session curricula on mental health topics. All programs are free and open to the community. No registration required for support groups.

NAMI Treasure Valley is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness serving the Boise metro area and wider Treasure Valley region. The organization provides peer support, education, advocacy, and public awareness programs to improve the lives of those affected by mental illness.
