About This Group

OCD Delaware is an affiliate of the International OCD Foundation, providing support groups and education for adults, children, and families living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder throughout Delaware. Members encourage each other’s progress and celebrate successes in a supportive peer environment.

What to Expect

Support groups provide a safe, confidential environment for people with OCD to share experiences, discuss treatment (particularly ERP — Exposure and Response Prevention), and support each other. Groups may include educational components about OCD and evidence-based treatment approaches. New groups are regularly started in different areas of the state to expand access.

As an IOCDF affiliate, OCD Delaware connects the state’s OCD community with both local peer support and national resources. They work to increase OCD awareness, reduce stigma, and ensure access to effective treatment throughout Delaware — a state small enough that a few well-placed support groups can serve the entire population.
