Pathways Vermont – Support Line (Statewide, VT)
About Pathways Vermont Support Line
Pathways Vermont operates the state’s peer support “warm line”—a free, confidential phone and text service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone in Vermont experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges, substance use concerns, or simply needing someone to talk to. Unlike a crisis hotline, the Support Line offers non-emergency peer support from trained individuals with personal lived experience in mental health and recovery.
What Services Are Offered?
The VT Talks Support Line provides confidential peer support by phone or text for a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, loneliness, stress, substance use, relationship difficulties, and general emotional distress. Peer support specialists listen without judgment, offer empathy and understanding, help callers explore coping strategies, and connect individuals to additional resources when appropriate. The line serves as a bridge between everyday struggles and formal crisis services.
Who Can Call?
The Support Line is available to anyone in Vermont—there are no age, diagnosis, or eligibility requirements. Whether you are experiencing a difficult day, processing emotions, navigating a challenging situation, or just need someone to listen, the Support Line is there for you. Family members and loved ones seeking support are also welcome to call.
How to Access
The Support Line is available 24/7 by phone or text. Simply call or text and a trained peer specialist will be there to listen and support you.
