TPA — Free DID & Plurality Peer Community — Online
The Plural Association (Power to the Plurals) is a grassroots, peer-led, volunteer-run nonprofit empowering people living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), OSDD, and all forms of plurality. Founded in 2020 by and for systems, it offers free educational resources and a peer support community where people who experience being more than one within a single body can connect, learn, and feel understood — no matter the words or labels they use. For Alaskans, where in-person DID-specific support is scarce, this fully online community removes the barriers of distance and travel.
What to Expect
Members gain access to an inclusive, member-driven peer community alongside dozens of free articles, videos, and guides on DID, OSDD, and plurality. The organization hosts ongoing virtual meetups, moderated weekly group text chats, and live panels and gatherings created by and for the plural community. Conversations are grounded in lived experience and led by trained peer support volunteers rather than clinicians. Meetings and chats emphasize connection, shared coping strategies, and reducing the isolation that so often accompanies dissociative disorders.
Who This Group Is For
This community welcomes anyone who self-identifies as plural or has been diagnosed with DID or OSDD, as well as those still exploring whether plurality describes their experience. Allies and loved ones can also find resources here. Whether you are newly diagnosed, on a long waitlist for specialized care, or simply seeking others who understand, you are welcome exactly as you are.
Why Peer Support Works
Dissociative disorders are frequently misunderstood, and specialized clinical care can involve long waits. Peer support fills that gap by offering immediate, judgment-free connection with people who share the lived experience. Hearing from others who navigate plurality day to day can validate experiences, model practical coping, and restore a sense of belonging — benefits that complement, rather than replace, professional treatment.
How to Join
