About This Group
The Postpartum Resource Center of Colorado (now Colorado Perinatal Mental Health Project — CO PMHP) offers free and low-cost support groups for new and expecting parents in the Denver Metro area experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and other perinatal mental health challenges. Groups provide a welcoming, judgment-free space where parents can share their experiences, learn coping strategies, and find comfort knowing they are not alone.
What to Expect
Support groups are facilitated by trained professionals who specialize in perinatal mental health. Babies are welcome at all gatherings. Groups offer a mix of peer support, education about perinatal mood disorders, and practical coping tools. Affinity groups are also available, including groups for LatinX/E and Black moms. Childcare and interpretation services may be available.
About CO PMHP
The Colorado Perinatal Mental Health Project is Colorado’s chapter of Postpartum Support International (PSI). They provide prenatal classes, postpartum support groups, mama meetups, and connections to professional perinatal mental health providers. Their mission is to ensure no parent faces perinatal mental health challenges alone.
