Table Talks - Navigating Solo Network - Free Solo Aging Community

The Navigating Solo™ Network is a national community built around solo agers — older adults aging without a spouse, partner, or children to lean on. It offers education, advocacy, and social connection, and serves as a clearinghouse pointing solo agers toward groups and resources across the country. Its recurring Table Talk gatherings give the community a regular place to come together.

What to Expect

Navigating Solo™ Table Talks are free virtual gatherings held on Zoom — hour-long sessions (typically early evening) where solo agers connect, learn, and talk through the realities of aging on their own terms. The network also runs a podcast, an annual SAVvy Day national event, and a mailing list that surfaces solo-ager events nationwide, so a Table Talk is an easy on-ramp into a much larger community of people navigating the same path.

Who This Group Is For

Older adults who identify as solo agers — single, childfree, widowed, or otherwise planning their later years independently — anywhere in the country, since gatherings are virtual. It’s for anyone who wants connection and shared wisdom rather than to navigate solo aging alone.

Why Peer Connection Works

Solo aging carries a particular isolation: decisions about housing, health, and the future that others make with family, solo agers make on their own. Regular gatherings with peers turn those private decisions into shared conversation — normalizing the questions, surfacing practical answers, and building the kind of chosen community that becomes its own support network over time.

How to Join

Table Talks are free. View upcoming dates and the Zoom link on the events page at navigatingsolo.com, and sign up for the mailing list to hear about future gatherings and other free solo-ager events.
