About This Group
Teton Youth and Family Services (TYFS) provides comprehensive behavioral health and crisis services for youth and families in the Jackson Hole area and throughout Wyoming. Their innovative programming includes crisis shelter, residential treatment, wilderness therapy, and forensic interviewing services. TYFS is dedicated to helping young people overcome trauma, behavioral challenges, and family crises through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Groups Offered
- Residential Treatment Groups: Therapeutic groups for youth in residential care addressing trauma, behavioral issues, and emotional regulation
- Wilderness Therapy Program: Outdoor therapeutic experiences using Wyoming’s natural environment to build resilience, teamwork, and self-awareness
- Family Counseling Groups: Multi-family groups and family therapy sessions strengthening communication and rebuilding relationships
- Crisis Shelter Services: Immediate safe housing and therapeutic support for youth in crisis
Who Can Join
Serves youth ages 10–17 and their families. Referrals accepted from families, schools, courts, and social service agencies across Wyoming. Crisis shelter available for youth in immediate need in the Jackson area.
Meeting Schedule

What to Expect
