The Compassionate Friends Bridgeport & Stratford chapter offers peer support for bereaved parents, siblings, and family members following the death of a child. Meeting at Sterling House in Stratford, this chapter provides a caring community for families navigating one of life’s most devastating losses.
What to Expect
Monthly meetings provide a safe space for bereaved family members to share, grieve, and support one another. The group is peer-facilitated by other bereaved parents who understand the unique grief of losing a child. Meetings include open sharing, themed discussions, and mutual support. Virtual options are also available for those who cannot attend in person.

TCF is a national nonprofit providing self-help support for families grieving the death of a child. The Bridgeport/Stratford chapter serves southwestern Connecticut, providing locally accessible support in an area with a diverse population and significant need for bereavement resources.
