Trichotillomania & Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRB) Support Group – Online
About This Group
The TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) offers free virtual support groups for adults living with trichotillomania (hair pulling), excoriation (skin picking), nail biting, cheek biting, and related conditions. These peer-led groups provide a safe, understanding space where participants can share their experiences, reduce shame and isolation, and learn strategies for managing BFRBs in daily life.
What to Expect
Virtual support groups meet monthly and are facilitated by trained peer leaders who have personal experience with BFRBs. Sessions offer open discussion in a confidential, nonjudgmental environment. Participants share what’s working for them, discuss challenges, and support one another through setbacks and victories. Between meetings, an online forum keeps the community connected. Registration is required, and groups are limited to adults age 18 and older.
