About This Group

The Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter offers support groups throughout the state for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, as well as their caregivers and family members. These professionally facilitated groups provide emotional support, practical caregiving strategies, and a welcoming community where you can connect with others navigating similar experiences.

What to Expect

Support groups are led by trained facilitators and offer a confidential, caring environment for open discussion. Caregiver groups focus on topics like managing daily care challenges, coping with emotional stress, understanding disease progression, navigating healthcare systems, and practicing self-care. Early-stage groups for individuals with a diagnosis provide a space to share feelings, stay socially connected, and learn about resources. Groups are available in-person, by phone, and by video throughout Colorado.
