About This Group

The Autism Society of Maine (ASM) hosts a monthly Adult Social Function Group for autistic adults across the state. Meeting online on the 2nd Thursday of each month, this group provides social connection, peer support, and community for adults on the autism spectrum regardless of their location in Maine.

What to Expect

The Adult Social Function Group meets online from 6:00–8:00 PM on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Meetings provide a structured yet relaxed environment for autistic adults to connect with peers, build social connections, and discuss topics relevant to daily life. The virtual format makes participation accessible from anywhere in Maine, removing geographic barriers that can be especially challenging in a rural state.
