About Encircle
Encircle is a leading LGBTQ+ resource organization in Utah, providing mental health services, support groups, and community programming for LGBTQ+ youth, young adults, and their families. What Groups Are Offered?
Encircle offers daily Friendship Circles—facilitated group gatherings for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults (ages 12–25) to connect, share experiences, and build community. They also provide licensed therapy groups, family support groups for parents and guardians of LGBTQ+ youth, and specialized programming including art therapy, yoga, career development, and life skills workshops. Group therapy sessions are led by licensed therapists specializing in LGBTQ+-affirming care.
Who Can Join?
Encircle’s drop-in programs and Friendship Circles are open to LGBTQ+ youth and young adults ages 12–25. Licensed therapy services are available to LGBTQ+ individuals of all ages. Family support groups welcome parents, guardians, and family members of LGBTQ+ individuals. No referral is needed, and services are offered on a sliding-scale basis to ensure accessibility.

What to Expect
Encircle houses feel like welcoming homes, not clinical offices. When you arrive, friendly staff and volunteers greet you and help you feel at ease. Friendship Circles are casual, facilitated gatherings with snacks and activities. Therapy sessions are conducted by licensed professionals in private, affirming spaces. The environment is designed to be a safe haven for LGBTQ+ individuals in a state where finding affirming support can be challenging.
Cost & Confidentiality
Drop-in programs and Friendship Circles are free. Licensed therapy is offered on a sliding-scale basis, with many sessions available at no cost through grant funding. Encircle maintains strict confidentiality for all participants, and therapy services adhere to professional ethical standards regarding privacy and HIPAA compliance.
