What to Expect
PEARL’s Peer Recovery Center hosts recovery meetings tailored to all pathways of recovery—welcoming individuals regardless of their chosen approach, whether 12-step, non-12-step, or medication-assisted. Meetings take place in a supportive in-person environment where members share experiences, build connections, and gain encouragement. Beyond meetings, PEARL also offers life skills classes, financial literacy workshops, Naloxone training, and pantry services—all free of charge.
Who This Group Is For
PEARL welcomes adults in Rogers and across Northwest Arkansas who are navigating recovery from any substance use disorder—including cocaine, opioids, alcohol, or other substances. The organization reaches individuals who may be facing overlapping challenges such as housing instability, unemployment, or family stress. All recovery pathways and stages are welcome, and no particular belief system is required.
Why Peer Support Works
Peer-based recovery support extends the impact of clinical treatment into everyday life—providing connection and accountability in the environments where recovery is actually sustained. PEARL’s Peer Recovery Support Specialists draw on their own lived experience to meet members with empathy, reduce stigma, and model what sustained recovery looks like. This approach is supported by a growing body of research linking peer support to reduced relapse rates, stronger treatment engagement, and improved long-term outcomes for people recovering from substance use disorders.
