About This Group
GriefShare offers grief recovery support groups at hundreds of church and community locations throughout Florida. These groups provide a caring, faith-based environment where people who are grieving the death of a loved one can find comfort, encouragement, and practical guidance for navigating the grief journey. GriefShare combines video seminars, group discussion, and personal workbook exercises.
What to Expect
Each GriefShare session features a professionally produced video seminar covering topics such as the impact of grief on emotions, relationships, and daily life, followed by small group discussion. The 13-week program can be joined at any point in the cycle — there is no need to start at session one. Sessions last approximately two hours and include time for sharing as well as quiet reflection. A personal workbook provides daily exercises for healing between sessions.
