About This Group

LifeRing Secular Recovery in Denver offers free, self-empowering support for people seeking abstinence from alcohol and non-medically indicated drugs. LifeRing is a completely secular recovery program — no prayers, no religious content, and no requirement to believe in a higher power. The program is built on three principles: sobriety, secularity, and self-direction, empowering each participant to build their own personal recovery plan.

What to Expect

Meetings follow an open discussion format and typically last about one hour. A trained convenor facilitates the discussion, and “crosstalk” (direct conversation between members) is encouraged. Participants must be sober during meetings. There are no sponsors, steps to follow, or assignments — LifeRing focuses on what works for you as an individual.
