About This Group

NAMI Aiken-Barnwell offers free peer-led support groups for individuals and families affected by mental illness in the Aiken and Barnwell County areas of South Carolina. What to Expect

Groups follow NAMI’s proven peer-facilitated format with sessions lasting approximately 90 minutes. Trained volunteer facilitators with lived experience guide discussions focused on coping strategies, recovery, and mutual support. Both individual and family support group formats are available. New participants are always welcome and no registration is needed.
