NAMI Delaware – Statewide Mental Health Support
About This Group
NAMI Delaware is the state organization of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, providing free peer-led support groups, education programs, and advocacy for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families across Delaware. They offer NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups and NAMI Family Support Groups, plus housing support for those with serious and persistent mental illness.
What to Expect
NAMI Connection groups are led by trained peer facilitators with lived experience. Family Support Groups help caregivers and loved ones understand mental illness and develop coping skills. Sessions provide a safe, confidential space for sharing experiences, learning strategies, and building community. No registration or diagnosis is required.
About NAMI Delaware
NAMI Delaware has served the state for years, providing education, support, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness. They offer programs including Family-to-Family, Peer-to-Peer, and In Our Own Voice. NAMI Delaware also provides housing support services for individuals with serious mental illness, filling a critical gap in the state’s mental health continuum of care.
