Free Parent Support for Kids with Disabilities - Colorado | P2P-CO
About This Group
Parent to Parent of Colorado (P2P-CO), a program of Ability Connection Colorado, is a network of families across the state who understand what it’s like to parent a child with a disability or special health care need, whatever that need may be. As one parent new to Colorado put it after connecting: “For someone who has never had it, it means everything. For once, I feel like I can breathe.”
Ways to Find Support
P2P-CO offers weekly online parent support groups and in-person groups, a one-on-one Support Parent matching program that pairs you with another parent who understands your specific journey, a private online community through groups.io, and an information and referral line available in English and Spanish. A quarterly newsletter and resource-packed website, including the Where Do I Start? guide series, round out the support.
Who This Is For
Parents and caregivers of children or adults with a disability or special health care need of any kind, anywhere in Colorado.
