Free Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Support - Denver, CO
About This Group
The PKD Foundation is the only U.S. organization solely dedicated to finding treatments and a cure for polycystic kidney disease (PKD), a genetic condition that causes cysts to grow in the kidneys and can lead to kidney failure. The Foundation builds local PKD communities in cities across the country, including a Denver Community led by Colorado native and PKD Connect Ambassador Justine Forristall-Rodri, whose husband and several family members live with ADPKD.
Ways to Find Support
The Denver Community is actively growing, with the Foundation seeking volunteers to expand local events and meetups, similar to the regular Community Meetings already running in cities like New York, Milwaukee, and Seattle. Colorado residents can also join the national Peer Mentor Program for one-on-one support, call the Hope Line for guidance, or take part in Walk for PKD – Your Way, a flexible fundraising and awareness walk you can organize on your own schedule.
Who This Is For
People with PKD (ADPKD or ARPKD) and their family members, anywhere in Colorado.
