About This Group
The Denver Metro Social Meetup is a free monthly gathering organized by the Autism Society of Colorado for autistic young people ages 15 to 22. The transition from adolescence to adulthood can be especially challenging for people on the spectrum, and this group provides a relaxed, social environment to build friendships, practice social skills, and have fun with peers who understand the autistic experience. There is no curriculum or therapeutic agenda — just genuine connection.

What to Expect
The meetup typically takes place on the second or third Saturday of each month in the Denver Metro area (dates and locations may shift, so registration is required). Activities vary and may include outings, game nights, creative workshops, or casual hangouts. The atmosphere is neuro-affirming and low-pressure — participate at your own comfort level. Facilitators from the Autism Society of Colorado help create a welcoming environment while letting the social dynamic develop naturally.

Who It’s For
Autistic young people ages 15 to 22 in the Denver Metro area. This group is ideal for teens transitioning out of high school, young adults starting college or vocational programs, and anyone in this age range looking for social connection.
