About This Group

Adam’s Place is a free grief support center serving children, teens, young adults, and families experiencing loss in the Las Vegas area. Through their Camp Cope peer support groups offered at multiple hospital locations, education programs, and training, Adam’s Place helps young people and their families navigate the grief process. All services are provided at no cost, ensuring that financial barriers never prevent families from accessing grief support.

What to Expect

Adam’s Place offers Camp Cope peer support groups at multiple hospital locations across the Las Vegas valley. Groups are age-appropriate, using activities, discussion, and creative expression to help children and teens process grief in a safe environment. Caregiver groups run simultaneously so that the whole family receives support. Programs are facilitated by trained grief support professionals. Young adults and families also have access to additional support programs and resources. New families are welcome at any time.

Adam’s Place was founded to fill a critical gap in grief support services for children and families in Las Vegas. The organization provides free, evidence-informed grief support that helps young people understand their grief, build resilience, and connect with peers who share similar experiences. Adam’s Place also provides training for schools and community organizations on supporting grieving children.
