Autism Vision of Colorado — Support Groups & Community Activities (Colorado Springs, CO)
About This Group
Autism Vision of Colorado is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2018, based in Colorado Springs but serving families statewide. Their mission is to educate the community about autism, create safe spaces for individuals on the spectrum and their families, and foster connection through free support groups, special events, and activities. The organization currently runs six in-person support groups covering children, young adults, and parents, along with community events throughout the year.
What to Expect
Autism Vision of Colorado offers multiple recurring programs including an Adult Game Social where adults on the spectrum can meet and have fun playing games and socializing, and “Autism Moms Get Out” where mothers meet at various local restaurants for casual connection (nursing babies welcome, check Facebook for location). Support groups are relaxed, welcoming, and designed for people at all comfort levels. All programs are completely free of charge.
