About This Group
The Blood Cancers Caregiver Support Group is a professionally led group specifically for caregivers, family members, and loved ones of people living with blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Caring for someone with a blood cancer diagnosis can be physically and emotionally exhausting, and this group provides a dedicated space where caregivers can share their experiences, receive emotional support, and learn practical strategies for managing the caregiving journey.
What to Expect
Sessions are facilitated by an oncology social worker who provides both emotional and practical support. The group offers guided discussion on topics like caregiver burnout, navigating the healthcare system, communicating with medical teams, managing your own emotional health, and finding balance between caregiving and personal needs. You’ll connect with others who understand the unique challenges of supporting a loved one through blood cancer treatment.
