About This Group

NAMI Multnomah is the Portland-area affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, providing free peer-led support groups, education programs, and advocacy for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families. Programs include NAMI Connection recovery groups, Family Support groups, a dedicated Schizophrenia Support Group, and an LGBTQIA+ support group, covering depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, psychosis, ADHD, and all other mental health conditions.

What to Expect

NAMI Multnomah offers structured peer-led support groups in welcoming, confidential settings. NAMI Connection groups are for adults living with mental health conditions. Family Support Groups serve family members and caregivers. The Schizophrenia Support Group meets Wednesdays from 1:00-2:00 PM for individuals specifically dealing with schizophrenia and psychotic disorders. The LGBTQIA+ group provides culturally affirming support. All groups are facilitated by trained peers with lived experience.
