About This Group
GriefShare is a faith-based grief recovery support group for people mourning the death of a family member or friend. This 13-week program combines video seminars featuring grief recovery experts, small group discussion, and a personal workbook to guide you through the grieving process. Whether your loss is recent or happened years ago, GriefShare provides a warm, caring environment to help you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.
What to Expect
Each weekly session features a video seminar with practical guidance from grief counselors, pastors, and others who have experienced loss. After the video, participants join a small group discussion to talk about what was shared and how it relates to their own journey. A personal workbook provides daily exercises and reflection between sessions. You can join at any point during the 13-week cycle — each session is self-contained. Childcare availability varies by location.

GriefShare is a ministry of Church Initiative, with over 17,000 groups meeting worldwide. The program was developed by grief recovery experts and designed to help people navigate the difficult journey from mourning to healing. GriefShare is rooted in Christian faith but welcomes participants of all backgrounds.
