As the capital region’s leading grassroots mental health organization, they provide education, advocacy, and vital peer support resources.

What to Expect

Support groups follow NAMI’s evidence-based peer-led format with trained facilitators who have personal experience with mental health conditions. Connection groups focus on individual recovery and coping strategies, while Family Support Groups help caregivers and loved ones understand mental illness and develop effective support strategies. All groups meet in a confidential, non-judgmental environment.
