About This Group
NAMI Evansville provides free mental health support groups for individuals and families in the Evansville and southwest Indiana area. Programs include general mental health support groups, a bipolar disorder support group (3rd Wednesday, 6:00-7:30 PM at the Kempf Bipolar Wellness Center), Family Educational Classes, and a suicide loss support group meeting on the 1st and 3rd Mondays.
What to Expect
Groups are facilitated by trained NAMI peers. The bipolar disorder group provides specialized peer support for individuals managing bipolar disorder. The suicide loss support group offers a compassionate space for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Family Educational Classes provide structured education about mental illness, treatments, and family coping strategies. All programs are free.
