About This Group

The OCD Foundation of Michigan’s Royal Oak group provides peer support for individuals living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and their loved ones. Meeting online via Zoom, this group serves the metro Detroit and southeastern Michigan community with a welcoming space for discussing OCD experiences, treatment journeys, and recovery strategies.

What to Expect

Online meetings offer open discussion among peers who understand the challenges of living with OCD. Topics include managing intrusive thoughts, navigating Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, medication experiences, and daily coping strategies. Both individuals with OCD and their family members/loved ones are welcome, fostering understanding from multiple perspectives. The group is run by volunteers with personal connections to OCD.
