The Compassionate Friends – Kalamazoo Chapter (Kalamazoo, MI)
About This Group
The Compassionate Friends Kalamazoo Chapter provides peer-led support for parents, siblings, and grandparents who have experienced the death of a child at any age and from any cause. Meeting twice monthly, this group offers consistent, ongoing support in a compassionate environment where bereaved families can share their grief and find understanding.
What to Expect
Meetings are peer-led by bereaved parents who have walked this path themselves. Sessions provide time for sharing, listening, and connecting with others who understand the profound grief of losing a child. There is no obligation to speak — listening is equally valued. The group welcomes newcomers at any time and offers a safe space for honest expression of grief, whether the loss is recent or occurred years ago.
